Chris Fisher
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Chris and his wife Jennifer (loyal Longhorns) are proud parents to five wonderful adult children: Annie (27), Abby (25), Sarah (24), Ben (22), and Andrew (20). Chris's journey leading up to ABBA has been marked by a dedication to service and a passion for making a positive impact on the community.
Chris comes to us after twelve years of service as the Metro and Area Director for Austin Young Life. His educational background includes graduating from Covenant Seminary with a Master of Divinity in 2006. Following his graduation, Chris returned to Austin to serve as the Director of City School and Assistant Pastor at Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
While in St. Louis at seminary, Chris served as a Pastoral Assistant at Crossroads PCA and played a pivotal role as the founding Program Director of Joe's Place, a home for homeless teens. Prior to seminary, Chris served in various capacities in Austin, including as the Director of Mercy Ministry at Redeemer PCA and as the founding Director of Side-by-Side kids.
Chris's diverse professional background also includes a stint in business in Austin, where he worked after graduating from UT with a BBA in Marketing. He even pioneered a business in downtown Dallas, showcasing his entrepreneurial spirit.
